HV20 24P Reverse Telecine

Streamline Test today, Jan 28 2008:
1. Logged tape at end. Punched in 08.00, set capture for a 1 hour clip. Enabled the capture new clip at break.
This saved me setting in and out points.
Let it capture. It worked!

2. After doing the compressor pro res reverse interlace droplet, I dragged a 1gb (5min 14 secs).
This takes 28 minutes on a G5 iMac 2 ghz single processor.
So basically 5x! That's insane!

Three minutes transcoding for 00:37 seconds of HDV. Basically 5x...

Five times... is... nuts.

So... better to edit DOWN HDV to a first cut on HDV,
then transcode to 24P for 3rd cut, when you're definitely more on selects.
